Q : What is the shelf life of a 2 kg bottle of LIQUD MUSCLE?

One year if kept frozen. 28 days from the date you began thawing the bottle, stored at 4 degrees Celsius or less.

Q : How do I know when LIQUID MUSCLE is properly defrosted?

LIQUID MUSCLE, from a frozen solid state, takes anywhere from 3 to 6 days to completely defrost in a refrigerator. There are a lot of factors that affect that timing, such as fridge temperature, how full or empty your fridge is and how many times a day you open the fridge and stand in front of it wondering what to eat. LIQUID MUSCLE is at its OPTIMAL state and tastes best when it has been allowed to fully defrost in the fridge. When shaken well and poured, you should get a silky smooth “milkshake” like texture. If when poured, you notice ice crystals and/or particles, that simply means that LIQUID MUSCLE is not fully defrosted. Put it back in the fridge and do some more push-ups and sit-ups.

Q : What sweetener is used in LIQUID MUSCLE?

At this time, we use a super small trace amount of sucralose (less than 2%). We have tried using a number of other sweeteners, including Stevia, which gave LIQUID MUSCLE a bitter aftertaste, and agave, which increased sugar levels and gave our product an unpleasant syrupy texture. Producing a sugar-free protein drink is very important to us and so we are constantly on the lookout for a natural sweetener with great taste and zero sugar. You have our word that when we find a substitute that we love and that meets our incredibly high standards, we will definitely go in that direction. In the meantime, we stand behind the extremely small amounts of sucralose that we use to help power our incredible and game-changing Liquid Muscle Protein Drink.

Q : What does 100% Bioavailable mean?

Bioavailability represents the percentage rating of just how much our bodies can make use of certain protein sources. Our bodies and digestive systems absorb some protein’s better than others and also certain sources will provide a higher amino acid profile. The protein benefits of Egg White are absorbed 100% by our bodies.

Q : What is Pasteurization?

Pasteurization means that we rapidly heat our premium egg whites and make sure that they are held at a minimum required temperature for a specified time. This destroys pathogens like Salmonella, but it does not cook the eggs or affect their color, flavor, nutritional value, or use. This makes LIQUID MUSCLE extremely safe for consumption.

Q : How much protein should I consume per day?

A popular rule of thumb is 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight, per day. Some athletes and bodybuilders will consume more, while the elderly or less active people may consume less.

Q: Where is LIQUID MUSCLE produced?

LIQUID MUSCLE is produced in a state of the art, Federally regulated, Egg Processing facility in Toronto, Canada.

Q: Tell me about Biotin and Avidin with respect to Egg Whites.

Even though we pasteurize our product, any Raw (uncooked) egg whites contain a protein known as avidin. Avidin has the ability to interfere with your Body’s ability to make use of Biotin (B7, part of the B complex group of vitamins). It is rare to be deficient in biotin because these vitamins are present in many foods and supplements in our healthy lifestyles like nuts(almonds, peanuts, pecans, walnuts etc) and nut butters, soybeans, other legumes, whole grains, cauliflower, bananas, mushrooms etc. If you consume large quantities of any pasteurized egg white product, we recommend that you supplement your diet with a multivitamin, B Complex vitamin that contains biotin (B7)or an individual biotin supplement and/or make sure you are consuming the foods that contain biotin (B7) to avoid any possible deficiency.
